Puerto Rico Towing & Barge
Co., an affiliate of The Great Lakes Group, began its operations in 1997 in San
Juan Harbor providing towing services to commercial vessels and barges with a five
(5) tugboat fleet. From its base in San
Juan, the Company services other ports in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands,
and the islands of the Caribbean.
The Company offers vessel assistance including service performed in connection with the movement of a vessel from stream to berth, berth to stream, berth to berth, berth to anchor, anchor to berth, and anchor to anchor, and escorting; Shifting Assistance with the movement of barges, scows, lighters, and other vessels.
